Security isn't a checkbox for us — it's the foundation everything else is built on. Every feature we ship is reviewed for its impact on patient data before it reaches production.

1. Encryption & infrastructure

All patient data is protected using industry-standard cryptography, both at rest and in transit:

Encryption at rest: AES-256 across all databases and file storage.
Encryption in transit: TLS 1.3 for every connection between your device and our servers.
Isolated environments: Production infrastructure is segmented from development and staging, with no shared credentials.
Redundancy: Automated, encrypted backups with geographically distributed storage.

2. Access controls & authentication

We limit who can see what, and log every access:

Role-based access control so staff only see the data required for their job.
Multi-factor authentication enforced for all internal systems.
Audit logging of every access to patient data, reviewed on a regular cadence.
Automatic session expiry and device management for clinician accounts.

3. Compliance & certifications

Nyansa Health is independently audited and certified against the standards clinicians and health systems require:

4. Monitoring & incident response

Our infrastructure is continuously monitored for anomalous activity, with a documented incident response plan that includes rapid containment, root-cause analysis, and timely customer notification in the event of any issue.

5. Responsible disclosure

We work with independent security researchers to keep Nyansa Health safe. If you believe you've found a vulnerability, we want to hear from you.
